1 Introductions, apologies, substitutions and declarations of interest
1.1 The Chair welcomed Members to the virtual meeting of the Climate Change, Environment and Rural Affairs Committee.
1.2 In accordance with Standing Order 34.19, the Chair stated that he had determined that the public were excluded from the Committee’s meeting in order to protect public health.
1.3 The Chair stated that if for any reason he dropped out of the meeting, the Committee agreed that Jenny Rathbone MS would become Temporary Chair in accordance with Standing Order 17.22.
1.4 Apologies were received from Neil Hamilton MS.
2 Introductory briefing by Rewilding Britain
2.1 The Committee received a briefing from Prof Driver, Rewilding Britain on biodiversity and rewilding.
2.2 Members asked questions and discussed key issues identified from the briefing.
3 Biodiversity and Rewilding: Evidence session 1 - Environmental Sector
3.1 The Committee heard evidence from Montgomeryshire Wildlife Trust, Nature Friendly Farming Network, Woodland Trust, Summit to Sea, and the Royal Society for the Protection of Birds (RSPB) Cymru.
4 Biodiversity and Rewilding: Evidence session 2: COPA (Cymunedau Oll Pumlumon a'r Ardal) Committee
4.1 The Committee heard evidence from the COPA (Cymunedau Oll Pumlumon a'r Ardal) Committee.
